Ubisoft at E3 Coliseum
Ubisoft made an impressive series of welcome announcements today at their E3 Coliseum conference.
Beyond Good and Evil 2
A game that’s been teased for years, this is a sequel to a 2003 cult classic. Launch date and platform availability is yet unknown but the trailer is impressive! It features a monkey with a cybernetic hand and a human companion racing through a futuristic city before blasting into space.
Assassin’s Creed
Creative director Jean Guesdon joined Ubisoft this year to introduce Assassin’s Creed Origins, set for release on October 27th this year.
Set in ancient Egypt, Origins will follow the story of the last magi and protector of his community. “An Egyptian sheriff, if you like,” Guesdon said. New features include scouting the area by sending a pet bird soaring into the air, controlling the flight of an arrow, and collecting RPG-style loot from fallen enemies in addition to the usual techniques.
Far Cry 5
Possibly the most controversial Far Cry 5 game so far, this game will feature religious extremism displayed by the enemies in the game. Far Cry 5 launches February 27 2018 and will feature new multiplayer options, map editor and online compatible story mode.
The trailer depicts Hope County in Montana in a state of doom after a cult takeover and federal law enforcement siege. In the campaign the player will use a sniper, pilot and a dog that can fetch guns from enemies.
Skull and Bones
Developed by Ubisoft Singapore, Skull and Bones is based on Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag but with more ammo and guns, due autumn of 2018. Players can set sail with multiple ships from long-range to dreadnoughts packed with ammunition. With friends you can pit two teams of five ships against each other in a race for the loot, competing to stay sailing and plundering loot.
In this online naval world you will get total control over your armaments such as cannons and mortars for naval skirmishes, you can even board other ships.
Mario Kart + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto made a surprising appearance at this year’s E3 Coliseum paired with Ubisoft to introduce the new tactical adventure known as Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
A team of developers have been working in Europe to create a turn-based tactical adventure game. The Rabbids get teleported to the Mushroom Kingdom and end up teaming up with Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi.
Transference
Elijah Wood’s is working on a Virtual Reality psychological thriller called Transference from his film studio SpectreVision, it is expected to be supported by Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR, and HTC Vive. The trailer is very scary!

- South Park: Fractured But hole is confirmed for October 17 as well as a new mobile announcement called South Park: Phone Destroyer.
- The Crew 2 which features cars, dirt bikes, planes and stunning graphics
- “Road to the Olympics” expansion pack for Steep, giving you the chance to represent our favourite country in snowboard slopestyle and halfpipe, as well as ski cross and slalom.
